    Prior to founding MSP, Alex Foshager was a Vice President in Goldman Sachs’ Global Industrials Group where he focused on providing a variety of investment banking services including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and equity and debt financings for both publicly traded and private equity-owned clients. Over his nine-year career at Goldman Sachs, Alex played an integral role working with clients across a broad array of industries spanning the full spectrum of the transaction process, including business and financial due diligence, strategic planning, financial analysis, valuation and transaction negotiation and execution. Alex has developed deep industry and transaction execution knowledge across numerous Industrial verticals, notably diversified industrials, manufacturing, packaging, transportation & logistics, and aerospace & defense, among others.

    During his time at Goldman Sachs, Alex advised on both buy-side and sell-side transactions across the size spectrum, gleaning valuable execution experience and formulating meaningful relationships across the Industrials sector. Select transactions include:

    • The $6.8 billion sale of Bemis to Amcor

    • The $4.3 billion sale of Clarcor to Parker-Hannifin

    • Brookfield’s $13.2 billion acquisition of Power Solutions from Johnson Controls

    • The $365 million sale of Buffalo Filter, a subsidiary of Filtration Group, to ConMed

    Alex began his career at Goldman Sachs in 2013 in the Global Real Estate Investment Banking Group in New York. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Alex was a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance. Outside of work, Alex is an aspiring golfer, Milwaukee Bucks fan and avid music listener. Alex was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

    Prior to founding MSP, Ken Mill was a senior associate in Goldman Sachs’ Global Industrials Group where he focused on providing a variety of investment banking services including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and equity and debt financings for both publicly traded and private equity-owned clients. As a senior associate, Ken was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the transaction execution process from financial due diligence to valuation advisory. Across his experience on both buy-side and sell-side transactions, Ken has been able to glean valuable insights from some of the best private equity investors and management teams in the industry. These experiences have been instrumental in shaping Ken’s investment philosophy and due diligence approach. In his six years at Goldman Sachs, Ken was consistently recognized as a top performer and was frequently sought out by senior-level bankers for his technical abilities, analytical acumen and strong work ethic. These relationships allowed Ken to play an instrumental role on numerous marquee transactions including:

    • The $500 million IPO of BrightView

    • The sale of Osmose to EQT

    • The $1.4 billion sale of Cooper Lighting to Signify

    • Lockheed Martin’s $4.4 billion acquisition of Aerojet Rocketdyne

    • CNH Industrial’s $2.1 billion acquisition of Raven Industries

    • Madison Industries’ $3.6 billion acquisition of Nortek Air

    • The $2.2 billion sale of Sykes to SITEL Group, among others

    Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Ken was a student at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Economics. While at Penn, Ken was the captain of the Men’s Club Volleyball Team. Outside of work, Ken is an avid golfer and beach volleyball player (weather permitting in Chicago). Born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, Ken is a first generation Cuban American and is passionate about his local Chicago sports teams. Ken lives in the Lincoln Park neighborhood with his wife, Bari.
